St Richard's Church, Alderbrook, has long been famed for the warmth of its welcome and the superb atmosphere that can be found within its walls. It is a small but very loving church that has to be experienced first hand to be fully appreciated.
Services
St Richard's is a very friendly and informal church. The congregation
is small in number, but active and caring, and there is a real family
feel. Parts of the service are often interactive; for example, people
are encouraged to pray openly for friends and relatives, although
there is no pressure to pray aloud for those who would rather not
do so. St Richard's welcomes everybody, young and old. There is
a children's club, a youth group and a creche available.
