What’s on during the festival?

Flower Festival (Fri Oct 3rd - TBA)

African Children's Choir (Sat Oct 11th - 7:30 pm)
The primary goal of the African Children's Choir is to raise awareness of the need of destitute and orphaned children in Africa and to raise funds for continued development and support of the Choir�s relief and development programs. Once Choir members have completed a concert tour, they will return to their homelands with the support, care and education necessary for bettering their future and that of their brothers and sisters.
 
re:fresh lunch  (Tue Nov 4th - 10:00 am)
"Questions children ask about God" - Gaynor Pritchard will help us look at this topic with time for discussion over a ploughwoman's lunch. Creche provided for talk - children join us for lunch.
 
Golf Tournament (Fri Nov 7th - 8:00 am)
A brilliant day for golfers of any standard. Breakfast, 18 holes of golf and (slightly less than spectacular) prizes are included. Handicap certificates are NOT required - so please feel free to come along, even if your golf swing is more Victoria Wood than Tiger Woods!
 
Quiz Night with fish and chip supper (Fri Nov 7th - 7:45 pm)
Join the members of Silverdown House Group for a brain-teasing evening of fun and fellowship - with a fish & chip supper at half-time. Ten teams will test their knowledge of everything from Aardvarks to Ziggurats in pursuit of prizes procured at Enormous Expense! Tickets (pre-booked only) £5 per person. Bring your own beer or wine (soft drinks provided). Why not encourage your friends,colleagues, house group members to make up a table of eight?
 
Men's Breakfast (Sat Nov 8th - 8:00 am)
A full English breakfast at Barnsgate Manor, followed by a challenging and engaging talk by John Chapman. Bring a friend along for a very enjoyable start to your Saturday morning.
 
St Richard's Family Fun Afternoon (Sat Nov 8th - 2:30 pm)
Family fun activities, food and entertainment.
 
Music Café (Sat Nov 8th - 7:30 pm)

Five-A-Side Football Tournament (Mon Nov 10th - 7:30 pm)
Think you could rustle up four friends (or more) to form a five-a-side football team? If so - please join us for a fun competition at Beacon Community College. All ages, abilities and sexes are welcome. Trophies for the winners. Free snacks and a beer (or soft drink) for everyone else!
 
Young At Heart (Mon Nov 10th - TBA)

Close to retirement or already retired? (Tue Nov 11th - 12:30 pm)
3-course lunch with short talk by John Chapman, the well-known Australian evangelist.
 
TNT Alive (Tue Nov 11th - 7:30 pm)
A fun, lively evening with music for teenagers to bring their friends to. Food, friendship and the Gospel message
 
R&B (Wed Nov 12th - TBA)

Thirsty Evening Meeting (Fri Nov 14th - 7:30 pm)
thirsty is a cafe style congregation with an informal time for conversation and refreshments. Guests are welcome to this special festival event, to join in and get involved in small group discussions or take time out in the relaxed and informal atmosphere.
 
Daddy and Me (Fri Nov 14th - 7:30 pm)
An enjoyable evening for parents and friends involved in our 'Daddy & Me' or 'Noarh's Ark' church groups.
