 Please Pray For |
This year’s Christian Festival has the most diverse range of events and its own website, the tickets and programmes are being printed and thousands of flyers are to be distributed across Crowborough.
However more than anything we need prayer and would greatly value support in this from your house group before and after this festival. Please pray for –
- Remembering why it is that All Saints church family we are holding this festival – I suggest Romans 12:9-21 provides an explanation of our motivation, because of our love for Jesus we want to serve Him in “sincere love”, “devoted to one another”, “not to lack in zeal”, “keeping our spiritual fervour” and “serving the Lord”.
- Mobilising the whole church family behind this.
- For each of us to invite guests – Chappo’s School of Evangelism is training us to be bold and 1 Corinthians 3:5-9 encourages us in this.
- For people in your group to hold a “Food For Thought” supper party.
- The speakers – that they will feel the Holy Spirit guiding them in what to say for each event. In particular that they will be sustained by The Spirit, to maintain their energy and enthusiasm.
- For the event managers, some are feeling stretched especially those doing this for the first time.
- For the leadership teams – especially John Chapman and Guy Boxall.
- Prayer especially for those who will respond to God’s word, for those who reach out to make the first steps to follow our Lord and those that feel they have made a significant step forward in their relationship with God.
- Finally for the follow up after the mission with those above.
